Plan the journey, then request a seat

Different plans. A shared direction.

RideLink connects passengers with journeys listed by drivers. Search your own route and date to check what is available.

Good journeys start with the details

Get familiar with the trip before requesting a seat. Your booking is confirmed when the driver accepts.

Your route and time

Review the departure point, destination and listed departure time.

Your seats and fare

Check available seats and the per-seat price before requesting.

The finer details

Discuss luggage, the exact meeting point and any special requirements with the driver.

Why book through RideLink

Verified drivers

Drivers register with their NIC and licence number, and verified accounts carry a badge.

Price per seat, up front

The seat price is shown before you request, so there is no negotiating at the roadside.

Confirmed phone numbers

Both sides confirm a phone number by SMS code before a booking goes through.

Your bookings in one place

Track requests, confirmations and completed trips from your bookings page.

Paying for your ride

RideLink connects you with the driver — it does not take payment. You agree the seat price when you book and settle it with the driver directly, so nothing is held by us in between.

  • The seat price shown is what the driver has set for the trip.
  • You pay the driver on pickup, not through this site.
  • A request is not a confirmed seat until the driver accepts it.
  • You can cancel a request while it is still awaiting a response.

Plan the journey, then request a seat

Understand your booking status

Your booking page shows where your request stands. Sending a request alone does not confirm a seat.

Pending

The driver has not yet accepted your request. Check back for their response.

Accepted

The driver has accepted. Use the available contact details to agree on pickup arrangements.

Declined or cancelled

This request is no longer an active arrangement. Search again if you still need a journey.

Plan the journey, then request a seat

Leave room for the details

For an airport journey, agree on a practical plan directly with the driver.

Before your flight

Allow for the journey and the arrival time your airline asks for. Confirm the pickup location and luggage space.

After you land

Allow for arrival formalities and baggage collection. Agree on a meeting point and discuss what happens if your flight is delayed.
